When is the Tax Sale Conducted

1. Date and Location: The Madison County Tax Sale typically occurs in February. Click here to view all of the tax cycle due dates and deadlines.  The sale will be held in the Administration Building at 157 North Main Street, in Edwardsville, Illinois.  Call the office for times and location.  If you want to be an individual buyer and purchase one parcel at 0%, please note it on your registration form. 
   
   
2. Payment: Payment must be made immediately following the sale at the end of each day for the judgment amount (taxes plus penalties and interest) plus fees of $95 per parcel purchased. Payment is preferred by check. Credit cards are not accepted.
